Welcome to a site dedicated to an interesting hobby, crown caps collecting.

My name is Leonid Kandinsky, I live in Moscow, Russia. I started collecting beer crown caps in 2001 by putting apart crowns from beer I was drinking. After some time my friends came to know about my hobby, so they started bringing me crown caps or even full beer bottles from their holiday travels and business trips. This was my way of collecting crown caps, and in 5 years I got about 700 beer caps.

Then in early spring 2006 my way of collecting changed radically, and I started active collectings.

Now you can look at my collection (see the Collection option in the upper menu), where you can chose the caps by brand, brewery or country. You may also like to see the sets of caps or symbolic caps (caps with no brand or brewery name written on them). You have 2 options: to see the texts in National Alphabets (such as Cyrillic) or with English Transliterations of such characters. You can also switch the transliteration on or off on each page where such a switch makes sence (by clicking the appropriate links in the upper-right corner of the page, under the main menu).
